Our Story
We built StoreTalk because we kept seeing the same problem: businesses in India were paying expensive BSP markups just to send a WhatsApp order update, or spending hours manually replying to the same customer questions every day.
WhatsApp is where Indian customers live — over 535 million people in India use it daily. So that's where we started. But Indian commerce isn't just on WhatsApp anymore. It's on web chat, on ONDC's open buyer-app network, on voice calls and missed calls, and increasingly on AI shopping agents like ChatGPT and Claude. Customers want to reach a shop on whatever surface they happen to be on.
That's why StoreTalk is built as a Conversational Commerce OS, not a WhatsApp tool. One platform, one customer record, one checkout — many channels. WhatsApp is our wedge; web chat, voice, AI agents, ONDC, and home kiosks are the same product reaching customers wherever they prefer to talk and shop.
